Vero Beach Volleyball

F.A.Q.

How do I register for training classes?
How do I pay for classes?

We take all forms of payment.

What if I have to miss my VBV beach volleyball training class?

Practices are optional.  Sessions are paid for in advance and there are no refunds for missing a practice.  You do not have to notify your coach that you will miss a practice.  Please remember that improving in beach volleyball comes from a solid foundation of coaching, focused practices and working hard every time you step onto the sand court.  Regular participation is the best way to raise your game.

Will practice be cancelled if it rains?

Practice will not be cancelled if it rains. We live and train in Florida, where it rains over 85 days per year! Practicing in rain makes players better and used to outdoor conditions which will be different for almost all the tournaments players will play in (both in state and out of state.) If other weather factors would potentially cause bodily harm, then updated practice or tournament information will be found on the VBVB website homepage

What do players wear?

We encourage our athletes to wear shorts with t-shirt or tank tops while practicing. It does get hot in Florida, swimsuits are permitted in practice but VBVB uniform is be worn in competition. This policy is in line with college play.
Sunglasses should have plastic frames (NO metal frames that could possibly cut a player’s face).

What time do tournaments start?

Standard check in time ends at 830 a.m. with play starting at 9 a.m.
